「スタンド・バイ・ミー」（Stand by Me）は、1986年公開米映画。
幸か不幸か、未熟でおバカで多感な少年時代を過ごした奴らと再会する機会が増えた今、タイムリーな映画だった。

「十二才の時のような友達はもう二度とできない…、もう二度と…。」

原作はモダン・ホラー大家スティーヴン・キングの非ホラー短編集「恐怖の四季」の中の秋の物語「死体」（THE BODY）。
アカデミー脚色賞、ゴールデングローブ賞作品賞、監督賞ノミネート、ベン・E・キングの同名主題歌はリバイバルヒット。

1950年代末、それぞれ心に傷を持った4人の少年たちが好奇心から、線路づたいに“死体探し”の旅に出るという、ひと夏の冒険を描く物語。
